                                                   We are pleased to inform our friends that  the CVHS Alumni 

                                                   Association has contracted with TRILOGY at LA QUINTA to host     

                                                                                     our 2006 Jim McDaniel Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament.

                                                   Our 12th annual tournament, which aids our scholarship fund,

                                                                                     will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Trilogy at La Quinta

                                                   beginning at 8:00 AM.

                                                   No heat, just good golf at a great golf course.

"Trilogy's commitment to offering exceptional golf and the highest level of service has merited the selection of Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta as the host of the Merrill Lynch SKINS GAME.

This year Tiger Woods will participate as will last year's winner, Fred Couples, along with Annika Sorenstam and Adam Scott."

Where they play, we will play.

So keep the date open and we will be contacting you very soon. Our goal this year

is to have 144 golfers, to fill the course, and to have it to ourselves for the day.

2005 Scholarships

To date, we have awarded over fifty renewable scholarships since June of 1994. Of these students, at least fifteen have graduated with their bachelor degrees, Three are seniors, three are juniors, three are sophomores, and four are freshmen.

We are very proud of these CVHS graduates who have taken or will soon take their places in society as educated and productive individuals. We would like to thank our members, sponsors, and those who participate in our golf tournaments who make this all possible.
